This Privacy Policy explains how Happy Birthday Extension ("we", "our", "the extension") handles information when you use our Chrome extension and the website at happybirthdayextension.com.

What the extension does

Happy Birthday Extension automatically posts birthday messages on your Facebook friends' walls, or sends them as direct messages, on their birthdays. It runs entirely inside your own Chrome browser.

What data we collect

Stored locally on your device

The extension stores the following data locally in your browser using Chrome's storage.local API. This data never leaves your device and is not visible to us:

This information is stored in our backend (Supabase) so the extension can verify your subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your payment card details. Email delivery is handled by Brevo.

Facebook data

The extension reads the following information from Facebook pages you visit (only when you have the extension enabled and have authorized it to run on facebook.com):

This Facebook data is read in your browser, used immediately to perform the birthday send, and is not transmitted to our servers. The history of who you sent messages to is stored locally on your device only.
